Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (85%)

Billy Hatcher and the Goant Egg? First time we heard about this game we thought it was another kids game out for the Gamecube but as you all know by now, The Gaming Network never gives up a chance to play any game. In the past Nintendo has relied on two main charcters, Mario and Sonic but this could all change now. Nintendo are probably the best at bring us squeals to games and heres the proof. Billy is a little kid and this is where the egg comes into play.

A kid can't fight enemies on his own so he uses his egg by running at them or by whacking it right at them. Brings back the memories of throwing eggs at houses in halloween. The egg may start of small but when you feed the egg with some food as you go along the levels it will grow and grow and then it has to hatch and this is where we think Billy comes up with his name. Once the egg hatches you will a little creature inside it.

A bit like Pokemon the different creatures do different things like blow fire or spit water. Depending on what creatue you get, this will be the key to you for solving some of the puzzles.

The game is very simple and easy to pick up and even though its so easy, its still a treat for all gamers. The controls arent the best but this is a must have game if you own a Gamecube. That just shows you all, never judge a game by its name.
